Honey Ginger Prawns

Ingredients – to serve 4

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried crushed chillies
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  •  1/2 small onion, chopped
  •  1 teaspoon of honey with ginger
  •  500g (1 1/4 lb) medium prawns – peeled and deveined
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • Heat the olive oil and crushed chillies in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, ginger honey; cook and stir until fragrant. Add the prawns, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring as needed, until prawns are pink and opaque. Serve immediately.
